Team Thomas Expands Technology in Real Estate

Buying or selling a home in the Springfield area? Team Thomas has an app for that.

Tech-savvy home hunters can now search for properties straight from their iPhone, thanks to a new application developed by Team Randy and Jenny Thomas of Murney Associates Realtors.

The free application, just approved and released by Apple, is like having a Realtor by your side, just as much as your iPhone is. In fact, the property information, including photos, price and details, comes directly from the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors.

“The new app is an industry first in the Springfield-area,” says Randy Thomas, head of Team Thomas and application developer. “Technology is ever changing and it has the capability to expand and grow businesses overnight. Real estate is no exception and we wanted to give our clients a way to stay ahead of the curve.”

But even novice gadget users can use the application.

The technology is simple and very similar to a buyer viewing the inside of their dream home from a computer. Now they can do it instantly with a simple touch on their phone…but it gets better.

The application is GPS based, so as you drive through a neighborhood, simply click the iPhone application and all the homes for sale in that neighborhood will automatically be showcased on the iPhone map.

Choose the home you’d like more information about and you’ll find a detailed description of the home along with additional photos.

“I have been using the new iPhone app since the beta version was released in December,” says Jill Satterfield, Team Thomas Sales Manager. “It’s so easy to use, either from your car or your desk.”

“I can move the map to a specific Springfield neighborhood, hit refresh, and all active listings instantly appear. I can also search for any home listed on the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors, including homes in Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Willard and Rogersville.”

For sellers trying to sell their home, Team Thomas hasn’t forgotten about you, either.

They will find it equally useful in researching their competition; as they can now view the price and details of other homes for sale in their area and price theirs accordingly.
